Are your lamps made of real stained glass or plastic?
Every Tiffany Lamp USA shade is crafted using 100% genuine stained glass. We use the traditional copper foil technique developed by Louis Comfort Tiffany. You can test this by applying a small flame to a hidden area; real glass will not melt or emit a chemical odor like plastic would.
How do you ensure the lamps arrive safely during shipping?
We use specialized dual-layered corrugated boxes and custom-molded styrofoam packaging designed specifically for the shape of each lamp. This ensures that even the most delicate glass shades remain immobile and protected during transit.
What happens if my lamp arrives damaged?
While we take every precaution, glass is fragile. If your item arrives broken, please take photos of the damage and the packaging, then contact us within 48 hours. We will send a replacement shade or base immediately at no additional cost to you.
What type of light bulbs should I use?
Our lamps are compatible with standard E26/E27 base bulbs. To best highlight the colors of the stained glass, we recommend using 'Warm White' LED bulbs (2700K). Avoid using high-heat incandescent bulbs above 60W to protect the integrity of the glass solder.
Why does the glass shade feel slightly oily when first unpacked?
During the final stage of production, a protective mineral oil is applied to the shade to protect the lead solder from oxidation and to keep the glass vibrant. Simply wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth before first use.
What is your return policy?
We offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not completely happy with your lamp, you can return it in its original packaging for a full refund. Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective.
